Get to Know Us
I am Ian Owen-Ward, Founder of Big Chef Little Kitchen. Fully trained classical french chef who happens to be big, 6 feet 5 inches tall, hence our company name. I was trained in London at Westminster College, which is much like the CIA in NY. I was lucky to work for Richard Shepherd, the first Englishman to win a Michelin star, at his Restaurant Langan’s. I also worked at the Michelin starred Tower Hotel Restaurant and for top specialist caterers Ring and Brymer cooking for Celebrity and Royalty alike, at countless events including the Chelsea Flower Show, Paris Air Show, Royal Ascot, Henley Regatta and many more.
Offerings
Our focus is serving the North Shore, based here in Marblehead Massachusetts. First our range of Hot Sauces, Pickles and Ferments will be on sale at our local Farmer's Markets in Marblehead and Swampscott. We also offer small scale private dining in home for our local clients, offering menu's designed specifically for their occasion. Soon we'll be launching our Supper Clubs, more to come on that!
